Looking for the real up-and-comer representing NYC & DR? I present to you Messiah with Yo Yais Music. The young Urban artist breathes passion into his free styles on the streets of NYC just like he does in the studio. For this Dominican-born talent music has been the perfect escape from heartbreak and rough upbringings, and although he rhymes about drugs and life’s struggles, he can make sweet tunes for the ladies too.

Fair skin and a soft demeanor contradict beautifully with the monstrous talent he brings to the Latin Urban movement. Not only is he a “young buck in the game,” but he is currently touring in Colombia, which proves he is a force not-for-long withheld in the streets of NYC.

Home to stars like Calle 13 and De La Ghetto, La Perla is pro active about bettering the lives of it’s youth-filled streets. El Estudio D’Oro is just one push towards growth and harmony. This free-of-charge studio welcomes all age groups to express their emotions through music. Ohh music, how you take the ugly and create the beautiful…

I pray for La Perla and stand proud by its people and its efforts to progress. There is nothing more beautiful to me than a diamond in the rough, or should I say a perla in the rough?
