Nicky Jam- An Underrated Talent

Nick Rivera Caminero, better known in the Reggaeton world as Nicky Jam, is what I like to like an underrated talent. His authentic voice is sexy yet hard hitting when needed on those edgy bars, and what’s more, his voice is never mistaken for another as it comes through the speakers of your radio. The half Boricua half Dominican singer has been in the game for a while making hits with industry bigs like Daddy Yankee, Hector El Father, Big Boy, and Rakim y Ken-Y. All-time favorites like “Yo No Soy Tu Marido” and “Chambonea” represent old-school Reggaeton at its purest form, the type that makes you feel the undeniable sensuality of the Urban branch of Latin music.

Currently residing in Medellin, Colombia Nicky Jam continues to work hard at his calling and always maintains genuine references to the streets he finds inspiration in. Whether it’s the beautiful women that walk those streets, or the struggle that lives within them the MC always delivers music that pays homage. It’s simple, don’t be mislead by his subtle presence in the lime light, just show support to the talent regardless of the amount of spotlights shone on them. Let me say this, Nicky Jam Reggaeton, like the one us true die hards learned to sweat it out to, is not for everybody, but if you appreciate the genre and solid talent, you’ll get it.

Messiah-Duro

Lets take a trip to DR…
Looking for the real up-and-comer representing NYC & DR? I present to you Messiah with Yo Yais Music. The young Urban artist breathes passion into his free styles on the streets of NYC just like he does in the studio. For this Dominican-born talent music has been the perfect escape from heartbreak and rough upbringings, and although he rhymes about drugs and life’s struggles, he can make sweet tunes for the ladies too.

Fair skin and a soft demeanor contradict beautifully with the monstrous talent he brings to the Latin Urban movement. Not only is he a “young buck in the game,” but he is currently touring in Colombia, which proves he is a force not-for-long withheld in the streets of NYC.

NoticaMusical wishes Messiah and his crew the best on this musical journey and hopes to one day cover his work in full!

El Jefe De La Versatilidad

El Jefe De La Versatilidad

De la Geezy is by far my favorite Latin Artist.
His mash up with Mavado Come Out n’ See, a street Jamaican anthem,
did it for me.
If you don’t know about this guy I suggest you go and do some research! –> @DeLaGhettoReal
